At Barrie Stead's 6 week production of Dick Whittington at the Derngate Theatre, Northampton (1994-95) Timmy had a fabulous dramatic entrance...
"I arrived on stage in a hot air balloon!"
"On the last night they left me up there swinging around! I had to climb out of the basket and jump onto the stage!"
Alderman Fitwarren was played by star of the Archers and the Werther's orgianl TV ads Arnold Peters and one of the gorgeous Blakeney twins - Gillian played the diminutive Alice!
We looked great shipwrecked on the shores of Morocco - Dick in his seafaring spex, Alice and Sarah the Cook played by Gordon Peters!
"I loved this bit, popping out of the trunk where I'd stowed away to get on board ship!" it was lots of fun!

"Hark, is that Tommy the Cat?"
Extraordinary outfits can only be worn by extraordinary stars!
The comedy duo Powys and Jones from Wales were sensational and Howard Sykes as King Rat was very Shakespearan!
Local radio breakfast show DJ Mark Collins had the hardest job.
As well as two shows a day at the theatre he was also getting up at 4.30am to do the breakfast show on Northants 96. Phew! exhausting!
Timmy had a wonderful time back in Northampton and would like to thank everybody who came to see the panto
