The snug
Playing dominos, supping their pints of bitter in the warmth of the winter snug, these two friends are absorbed and comfortable in each other's company. There's something very reassuring about the pub and the log fire, and it's always been a place to meet and make friends. Old fashioned pubs like these are under threat from the bistro pub.
