It was a well predicted fabulously snowy day in February 2007. Everyone was off school and out playing the in the snow. On Winter Hill golf course we have a huge snowball fight and afterwards I painted it in Lowry-esque style!
I put thick red paint all over the canvas and used a dry brush to drag the white over the ridges to give this rippled thick snow effect. The grey winter's sky is illuminated by the flying snowballs. In the distance is Cliveden Reach and the blue Cookham bridge is the only other colour.
