Blue Peter’s World’s biggest Bring and Buy sale opened by the Mallett Man!

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Blue Peter asked Timmy to open the World’s biggest bring and buy sale at Lakeside shopping Centre.

Among the stars on hand were Matt Willis, Connie Fisher, and stars of CBBC

Andy and Joel  were excited to present Timmy with his Blue Peter badge. Amazingly it’s Timmy’s first time ever on the show! There was time for a chat while manning the stalls before Timmy auctioned the stars donations (signed Busted T shirt, Connie’s dress form Maria, and favourite Pinky Punky)

And best of all Timmy met another star of Wacaday. Sam appeared on show in 1989 playing Mallett’s Mallet and won a Wham album! Today they met again for the first time in 20 years and Sam was the winner bidder on her very own signed Mallet!

It’s one of those lovely stories that made the day so special. Thanks Sam!

Timmy on Rodge and Podge

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Ireland’s favourite dirty old men - Rodge and Podge from Ballydung - had Timmy on their late night RTE2 show this week. New girl Caroline Morahan brought Timmy into the filthy kitchen for  the chat which included Penis Coladas, kidnapped Mallet used in X rated DVDs, Itsy Bitsy, Biff Baff Boff,  and any spare spex please cos Podge can’t see a thing!

It’s full moon too so Timmy went into werewolf mode and howled at full volume!
