Children Today helps children with disabilities to achieve their potential and Timmy was delighted to present a special £1000 car seat to 4 year old Mark Palmer when came with his family to watch the panto at the Playhouse, Weston Super Mare.
4 year old Mark Palmer, together with his mum, dad and little sister OJ (Olivia-Jayne) made a special visit to the Playhouse to meet Timmy. They wanted to meet him to say a big thank you for supporting their favourite charity Children Today.
Mark, who recently received a grant of £1000 from Children Today for a special car seat wanted to thank Timmy for choosing the charity as his benefactor in his recent adventures on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Mark has scoliosis, cerebral palsy and is partially sighted and the seat has helped him to ride safely in the car and to be able to see more of what’s going on around him.
Children Today provides grants for vital, life-changing equipment for disabled children and young people all over the UK, believing that the provision of specialist equipment for young people with disabilities has a direct and immediate impact on their quality of life and independence and is vital in helping them to overcome obstacles to live a life of greater freedom.
Timmy said “It was lovely to be able to meet Mark and his family, give them a lovely day out at panto and to present him with his special car seat. Children Today do so much to help kids and it’s a privilege to be able to help them like this”
