Christmas Day Dip!

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

Because he’s a nutter, Timmy decided to spend his Christmas Day taking part in a traditional dip in the sea in Weston Super Mare.

Was it cold? Yep, it was utterly freezing! So cold it froze his biff baff boffs off!

Hundreds turned out to watch including the intrigued press.

The Met Office said the sea was the coldest it had been in 40 years.  Ouch! Only Timmy would be mad enough to do this!

Biff Baff Boff - Recording the single!!

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Barry Upton who put Steps together is producing the Biff Baff Boff single and he turned up on Sunday lunchtime with a tiny little portable studio to record Timmy’s vocals to the track.

It was a difficult time becuase Timmy was in the middle of a tech run for panto but they managed it in a little over an hour with a break for one of Timmy’s comedy routines in the Pater Pan Panto.

The song has 4 verses - two new ones added by the team to the work that David and Tmmy had done in the jungle.

It’s a real sing along song which will be a big hit with party goers! The final mixdown will happen over the next few days and it’ll be available for download very shortly!

Sunday Night Project

Monday, December 15th, 2008

The Sunday Night Project met its match with I’m A Celebrity stars Timmy and David. Alan Carr had his wish come true when he and Timmy did a wacawave!

Gethin Jones commented how tiny Timmy and David were. Cheeky!

Justin Lee Collins lives near Weston Supe Mare and is bringing his family to see Timmy in panto.

And an ITV2 camera crew followed the whole night for their Coming Home show on Dec 22nd.

Panto Update.. It’s Getting Messy!

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

Rehearsals for Timmy’s panto in Weston-super-Mare are going well.

They have started work on the kitchen scene - based on a bush tucker trial - and boy it’s a beauty!

Robert Kiljoy Sulk will love it lots as Timmy is comprehensively trashed! This was the first time working the scene with the props and judging from the howls of laughter from the crew it’s going to be one of the highlights of the show!

Book you tickets now!

Panto rehearsals.. and lots more interviews!

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Life hasn’t got any quieter now Timmy is back in the UK! Within 24 hours of landing he was on stage in Weston rehearsing his panto… and that wasn’t the half of it!…

Coming Home!

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Coming home was never going to be a quiet affair with Timmy around! There was no room in the chauffeur car and Timmy was shoved in the truck to keep the luggage from bouncing out!

The new Airbus 380 double decker plane was blessed with a Mallett howl! The shower was great, and so was the lounge and bar. The crew were very excited to meet Timmy and Esther and cued up for photos.

There was no shortage of paparazi at Heathrow to hear of Timmy’s journey home and the ITV Coming Home show crew couldn’t believe the amazing decorations that friends and neighbours had done to Timmy’s house, including Biff Baff Boff posters on the gate, and a fabulous red carpet to the decorated door and the jungle rooms inside!

‘I’ve never seen so many Crocodiles’ said Timmy, in amzement! Thats what you get when your friends and family have enjoyed the show as much as they did!

There was just time to unpack, repack and fall asleep before driving off to the West Country and a warm weston welcome for Panto!

The Wrap Party - exclusive pictures!

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

The I’m A Celebrity wrap party was held in Coolangatta an hour away on the Gold Coast. Limos brought the stars to the venue and Esther and the Malletts spent the ride putting the World to Rights, discussing our next few weeks, and speculating who would end up going to Brian’s wedding!

The jungle police turned up looking glamourous “hey Timmy I was on Mallett’s Mallett when I was 8 , do you remember me?!” Of course I do! said Timmy but I think you were a little smaller!

They arrested Brian armed with spud guns - “hey Brian you can spend the rest of party peeling spuds - we know how much you love that job!”

Simon sang some songs, which didn’t go down too well cos everyone wanted Biff Baff Boff! Martina wanted her hat signed and David, Timmy and Joe spent the rest of the evening playing Mallett’s Mallet! Typical sort of celebrity party then wasn’t it!

Well done to the fancy dressing crew who ade a good effort coming as various favourites from the show!

For the record the owners of the property where the show is staged were there. “We moved here 12 years ago and the land was useless. A real estate agent suggested our land as a suitable location for the TV crew 7 years ago and within a week we had TV execs from London all over the place - it was the best thing that ever happened to us!”

Their 11 year old son is one of the happiest kids around. He’s been selling free range eggs from the flock of 46 hens, to the TV caterers. He’s done so well he’s been able to buy 2 cow his year and one of them escaped to go wandering through the camp one afternoon. It was never shown but all the celebrities loved it!

The Final… Part 2: Back in camp!

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

After the final of I’m a Celebrity, the celebrities went back into camp and showed their loved ones around. Everyone wanted their photos taken in and around all of the areas we’ve become so familiar with over the past 3 weeks..

Back in camp!

The Final…Part 1

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

Saturday morning and the celebrities were up and ready for the show at 4:30am! You’d have thought they would be watching in luxurious surroundings. Hardly! They were sat in a tent eating breakfast and watching on one big screen.

Later they moved closer to the studio set and huddled round a TV in a glade. But it’s good to watch the show together and they all enjoyed it except Brian who moaned there was only one shot of him!

The busy studio setting is shared between ITV 1 and 2 and shows and the celebrities and their families gathered round to cheer and enjoy! You can see the emotional exhasution and relief on many faces…..

As the winners were announced all the celebrities gathered round to join the celebrations….

In the next post the celebrities go back into the jungle!

Biff Baff Boff… LIVE!!

Saturday, December 6th, 2008

On the penultimate night David is voted out. At the cocktail recepion Timmy and David give their first public performance of Biff Baff Boff - none of the other celebrities have seen it and they are all desperate to have a look!

Simon offers to put some music to it, Esther wonders if its possible to do a cha cha dance to it, and Carly and Nicola want to know if there’s any room for their itsy bitsys to wiggle in it!
