have been possible.”

Celebrity Grafitti on School photo day!

Posted on March 26th, 2009 by admin

Timmy turned up at school to appear in the BBC school report feature. He was asked to create some Celebrity Grafitti with Year 10s. This was after the school had the fun of doing the school photo!

Remember the fun of school photos and the wag who would always run around the back? Have a listen to Timmy’s podcast on the day

The there was the fun of how messily you could create some celebrity grafitti. take Timmy Mallett, a load of paint and some nutty year 10s and the answer is VERY MESSILY!

Thanks for a fun morning!

In the Midnight Hour…

Night time in the city…

It’s great to be painting night scenes and I love the effect of the light on the warm yellow stones.

The prints are available to buy now at just £495 each from all great art galleries.

Timmy on This Morning!

Posted on March 2nd, 2009 by admin

This week Timmy’s art was featured in the Sun, Mail and Metro newspapers; and on Friday Timmy went into ITV’s This Morning to talk about his art with Eammon and Ruth

Eammon’s favourite is the Tall ship on the Thames and Ruth loves the bikes on the beach which are on show at the Weybridge exhibition at the Wyecliffe gallery.

During the show Timmy revealed the portrait of his godson, Flyn - Absorbed - and painted a glorious sunset painting  featuring the two presenters on a beach with driftwood (paperbark from the jungle). The painting is called This Evening

Blue Peter’s World’s biggest Bring and Buy sale opened by the Mallett Man!

Posted on February 19th, 2009 by admin

Blue Peter asked Timmy to open the World’s biggest bring and buy sale at Lakeside shopping Centre.

Among the stars on hand were Matt Willis, Connie Fisher, and stars of CBBC

Andy and Joel  were excited to present Timmy with his Blue Peter badge. Amazingly it’s Timmy’s first time ever on the show! There was time for a chat while manning the stalls before Timmy auctioned the stars donations (signed Busted T shirt, Connie’s dress form Maria, and favourite Pinky Punky)

And best of all Timmy met another star of Wacaday. Sam appeared on show in 1989 playing Mallett’s Mallet and won a Wham album! Today they met again for the first time in 20 years and Sam was the winner bidder on her very own signed Mallet!

It’s one of those lovely stories that made the day so special. Thanks Sam!

New girl Caroline Morahan brought Timmy into the filthy kitchen for  the chat which included Penis Coladas, kidnapped Mallet used in X rated DVDs, Itsy Bitsy, Biff Baff Boff,  and any spare spex please cos Podge can’t see a thing!

It’s full moon too so Timmy went into werewolf mode and howled at full volume!
